CERNAS-IPV

CERNAS – Research Centre for Natural Resources, Environment and Society is a research unit recognised by the Portuguese National Funding Agency for Science, Research and Technology (FCT). Our aim is to conduct research in the fields of Agriculture, Food Science and Engineering, Environment and Society, promoting sustainable development on a regional basis as part of a global intervention. The questions of rural development, ecosystem conservation, environmental services, eco-efficiency tools and solutions and the judicious use of natural resources, including land use planning and the measurement of the societal response, will be addressed by the Environment and Society Research Group.
LAIS

LAIS has started in 2015 with members who were not able to publish in any scientific journal. We started to publish our best papers in LNISO scopus indexed Springer book. Year after year, we improved our research skills and during 2020 most of our members were able to publish in a Q1 or Q2 journals (Journal of Enterprise Information management, ANOR, Journal of Asia Business studies). LAIS was selected for the Outstanding Chapter Award in 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020.

The LEFMI (Laboratoire d'économique, finance, management et innovation) brings together researchers in economics, finance and management whose problematic questions the functioning and evolution of commercial and financial exchanges, as well as the behavior of agents in the economic sphere. In order to develop its analyzes, the laboratory endeavors to mobilize a plurality of methodological approaches: theoretical, empirical (quantitative and qualitative analyzes) and historical (including the history of economic thought).
